How often should I get a checkup and cleaning?
On average, a person should receive a professional dental checkup and cleaning about twice a year, or once every six months. This is frequent enough that our team is able to catch most common dental issues early so we can treat them before they cause any lasting pain or damage.
Why do I need professional cleanings if I brush and floss?
Your tools at home are great, and you should practice oral hygiene every day, but the truth is that everyone has trouble spots in their mouths where plaque and tartar accumulate despite someone brushing and flossing consistently. Professional cleanings enable our team to take care of these hard to reach areas to prevent cavities, plus we can polish your teeth to remove any minor surface stains.
Can I bring my child to Arizona Smile Design?
Yes, we’re happy to take care of patients at any age, whether they are young or just young at heart!
How long will it take to fix my tooth?
This answer will vary based on the extent and type of damage. For minor cavities, we can usually fix them in one appointment with a tooth-colored filling. Or, if the decay or trauma is more extensive, we may choose to place a crown, which takes about two appointments to design, fabricate, and apply.
How much will my appointment cost?
The cost of your dental appointment will vary based on the services you receive as well as your dental insurance coverage. To get a better idea of what you’ll be expected to pay out of pocket, we recommend giving our team a call. We’ll make sure there are no unpleasant surprises at checkout!
Will you accept my dental insurance?
