Whether he’s educating patients about their dental health or perfecting smiles, Dr. Joshi is committed to providing high-quality, ethical dentistry. Outside the office, he enjoys an active lifestyle, exploring new places, and spending quality time with his family.
Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?
Before becoming a dentist, Dr. Jaineesh Joshi spent 14 years as a biomedical engineer and considered pursuing a master's in mechanical engineering. However, while dating his wife—who was already a dentist—he recognized the abundance of engineers in the field and decided to take a different path. Dentistry allowed him to combine his technical skills with his passion for working with people, and he hasn’t looked back since.
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
Dr. Joshi earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D) degree from Midwestern University in Arizona. Before dental school, he attended the University of Texas at Arlington for his undergraduate studies. He is also laser-certified, expanding his ability to provide advanced dental care.
Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
When he’s not caring for patients, Dr. Joshi enjoys staying active with hiking, badminton, pickleball, tennis, and ping pong. He also loves traveling, working out, and discovering new restaurants. At home, he cherishes time with his wife, Dr. Shah, who is also a dentist, and they take care of his father together. Dr. Joshi is multilingual, speaking English, Gujarati, Hindi, and Swahili.
