How Does Root Canal Therapy Work?

During a root canal, Dr. Mueller will access the inner chamber of your tooth where the infection is located and remove it. To ensure that no harmful bacteria are left behind, he'll sanitize the area and fill it with a substance called gutta percha to replace the lost structure. We'll then take impressions of your tooth to craft a customized crown. When it arrives at our dental office, we'll call you back in to secure it over your treated tooth.
